Since 2009, the Glen Cove Public Library has worked to preserve the voices of Glen Cove’s past. We have collected interviews with people from the Glen Cove area – including mayors, politicians, merchants, lifelong residents, etc. These interviews capture the personalities, poignant personal stories, and behind-the-scenes decision-making that brings history to life. Transcripts of the oral history interviews are accessible in the Robert R. Coles Long Island History Room.
